From Listening to Dancing with People with Functional Neurological Disorder

Building on evidence for somatic or physical interventions in functional neurological disorder (FND), the goal of this study is to test the feasibility of a structured dance/movement program for individuals with FND.  While physiotherapy is recommended for people living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), lived experiences that inform effective treatment design are not well understood.

This study first explores these experiences through interviews, then co-designs a tailored dance-based rehabilitation program with participants and clinicians.
